Camera
Lens |
The
camera should be installed vertically horizontally. If
the camera lens has any foreign materials, it is impossible
to get clear images so periodically clean it. For cleaning
the lens, use a soft cloth to prevent the damage of the
lens. |

Jack
for Power Connection |
A
power connection port product includes a cigar jack power
cable. Connect it to the cigar jack power of a car, and
the power will be supplied to the main body.
* Warning: In case the enclosed power cable is lost or
damaged, do not use a power cable that is not suitable
for the spec. Be sure to contact the customer center and
purchase one. Using the power cable that is not suitable
for the spec can seriously damage the product. |

Connect
the recorder to the video input port of navigation, and
you can watch the images that are recorded on a real-time
basis. |

SD
Card Slot |
It
is the slot for SD card. When mounting or removing SD
card, be sure to separate the power cable of the main
body or turn off the ignition first. In the case of replacing
with the SD card that is not supplied, together with the
product, be sure to format with FAT32 and set values at
Environment Setting. |

PWR
(Standby button) and Volume Down |
It
is possible to make all the actions of the machine into
the standby status. In this status, regular recording
and image output are impossible. Set the sensitivity of
the shock sensor and the function of voice mute for recording.
With the volume key, you can adjust the sound soft. |

Voice
Information Mute Button, Volume Key Control |
Shortly
press the Voice Mute button, and the voice information
won’t work. Press it for over 3 seconds, and you
can set the loudness of the voice information. |

Regular
Recording Standby Button and Volume Up |
You
can stop regular recording. If you stop it, regular recording
won’t be performed. However, under shocks or manual
recording, it works. The volume key controls the loudness
of the sound. |

Record
Event Button |
This
button is for emergency recording. If you press the Record
Event button (E) during regular recording, it saves the
images for 20 seconds – 10 seconds each before and
after the button is pressed. |

Blue
LED |
It
lights on during normal operation, but it flickers when
the voice information is mute. |

This
is for voice information. It makes maximum 1w voices.

Red/Green

It
indicates the operating status. During regular recording,
green LED flickers. During emergency recording, red and
green LED flicker in order. While data are moved to SD
card from NAND memory, the red, the green, and the OFF
work in order. |

| Analyzing G-Sensor
Data |
| G-sensor provides the values for
X, Y, and Z and Black Eye Player shows the values in graph.
Through the graph, it is possible to analyze the travel conditions
and the user’s habits. The changes in the curved lines
of the graph can become different, depending on the kind of
the car and the conditions of the road. |

| Sign-Up and Registration
of Product |
1. Sign-Up
Visit the homepage, (www.black-eye.co.kr), and sign up, registering
and entering member ID and password.
2. Registration of Product
If you are using a product, enter the product information. (S/N
number on the side of the product, Date of purchase, Where to
purchase)

| Program Update |
1. Take out SD card from the main
body and mount it on the memory card reader connected to the
computer.
2. Connect the memory card reader to the USB port of the computer.
3. Format SD card.
4. Visit the website of www.black-eye.co.kr and log-in, entering
member ID and password.
5. Download the files to update, make a new folder in SD card,
change the folder name into Update, and copy the downloaded
files in the folder.
6. Mount SD card on the main body, press the “Standby”
button and the “Voice Information Mute” button at
the same time, and connect the cigar jack power with the buttons
pressed. After the initial booting is completed, cancel the
“Standby” button and the “Voice Information
Mute” button, and the updating will be automatically completed.
7. After updating is completed, the Regular Recording mode will
be started.
Attention
Do not switch off the cigar jack power or turn off the ignition
while the program is being updated.
